My twin cam 88 gets around 38. My twin cam 107 gets around 38. Both can vary a bit but nothing significant. I'm surprised the 50+ club hasn't chimed in with their claims. I suspect they soon will. Gas quality, ethanol etc, have much to do with it along with driving habits and conditions. I'd say you are right about the average.

I'm usually hovering between 40 and 42 depending on if it's in town or highway riding.

I got 50 MPG a couple times, I filled up at the top of the mountain, rode downhill all the way down and filled up at the bottom. Went 2 miles and used .04 gallons of gas.

The bike has 3500 miles on it, 2300 have been in the past two weeks. I haven't had a chance to run the numbers by hand, but I don't know that the number on the power vision is really all that far off. I get about 210 per tank when the low fuel light kicks on, then it shows r37.

I don't know that I fully trust the gauges, but when I top off the tank, I can only get 4.7 gal in there after 210 miles, so... if .3 gal would get me 37 miles, it could mean that I am getting close to 49 mpg. Seems a bit high though, but I don't rev it hard, and I do a lot of highway miles cruising in 6th.
If you have a 2012 StreetGlide then the fuel capacity is 6 gallons. I can only get 5.1 during a fill-up though.

210 divided by 4.7 = 44.68 so your power vision isn't giving a true reading either.

The best I ever got was 49, but I had a 30 mph wind shovin' me down the road.....

is the streetglide heavier than a softail? My fatboy with a hot little 95" gets 48 on the highway and around 35 in town(if I don't get on it too hard).. If I got less than 40, I'd think something was wrong with it. It's an 06 with 32k on it. Wierd.

My powervision trip meter shows 42.0 in the city and 42.7 on the highway.

Bike has 750 miles on it and will be getting it's 1000 service completed real soon.

2012 Streetglide with V&H power duel header with V&H 3.5 black widow slip-ons, V&H V02 air intake, V&H throttle pack and tuned with a powervision.
Completely bone stock 2012 Street Glide and I average around 42-43 per gallon and have 4500 miles on it currently. I check every tank and it has not varied more than a mile or two and no I do not baby it when riding.

10 Ultra and a 12 RG both get 50 mpg. The RG was a surprise as I didn't expect it to match the TC96.
