I am solving the issue of the headlights by installing the Motolights that were on my EG Ultra. They mount on the front forks brake caliper bolts. Thus they turn with the with the forks in the direction of the turn. I have the best of both worlds with this set up. The front lighting should be great with the twin headlights in combination with the Motolights.

The attached photo is the Motolights on the Ultra.

Sweet!!! You done good all the way around. Welcome to HD's best kept secret. The fantastic Road Glide.

Because I kept my 10 Ultra, I went with the 12 Road Glide Custom thinking that I didn't need two bikes with a trunk. Well, it didn't take long for me to realize the the Ultra may stay home on this years tours. I added the four point mount with a luggage rack and back rest to hook a T bag onto. I'm ready.

With all the trim junk on the Ultra my wife called it the "Buick"

So, when I got the denim black RG, I call it the "Evil Twin" to the Buick

I like the windshield and the bars. One thing I noticed was the reach was a bit far for me when riding in a comfortable position, so I may investigate an upgrade in that area when finances permit.

I wish I could have afforded to keep my '04 Ultra. The Road Glide is HD's best kept secret, and was the natural next step for me in my Harley addiction!

Welcome to the shark-tank. Don't give those decrepit old bat wing owners another thought. You got Harley's best tourer.

I really struggled with the shark/bat choice when I bought my Limited but I know I would have been happy either way. Very nice.

Oh no, another bat winger has fallen....watch out, they are going to be coming for you now. LOL, one of the most fun parts of having the RG so far has been listening to some of the friendly (some not so friendly) jabs back and forth. I am actually a recent convert myself. I used to think the RG was an ugly ride. Something about the way they did the custom, especially in black denim really tripped my trigger. Now its in the garage with about 350 miles on the clock waiting for me to come home. Congrats on the new ride, you're going to love it. Keep it to yourself though, the secret is starting to get out.
