I have to say this seat is perfect form me, Im 5'9 and with the DG Bigseat Im finally flat footed and the seat is so comfy and I like the style, I also got a used pillion which is ok but the seat solo looks the best.

Now that the seat is right I can start looking for apes, Im think 12-14 inches.. Also I have a 18 in LRS an thats a perfect size too and the wind buffeting is way way less then nothing.

Nice Seat my Airhawk big solo arrived today, gonna test it out tomorrow.

 

I have the same seat, I rode mine about 300 miles the first day I put it on, it will really sit right after about 1,000 miles. Best looking seat on the road.
