Ok I understand that sort of. Why would you want to keep changing cams? I am just trying to wrap my mind around this. I have rebuilt some car and heavy equipment engines over the years so I know the basics of how an engine works. I, for one am more than pleased with the performance of my stock 103ci engine. I came from a Yamaha 1100 Classic and all I can say is OMG when it comes to performance.

Not necessarily changing cams often or repeatedly, just changing cams without disassembling any of the top end. Adjustable push rods allow you to install cam and replace push rods and adjust the valves through the push rod tubes.
Being satisfied with current performance is fine, give it some time, as you get used to the bike you might change your mind.
