If I'm not mistakin the RSD grips need to be glued on the clutch side where the HD grips have the collar that locks it into the switch housing. That fact alone made me go with the HD grips. I have them on both bikes and like them. Not a big fan of glue on grips.
I just put on the black Get a Grip, nothing to compare them to but the stock grips. I wear an XL glove and wanted a larger diameter grip, I was considering performance machine, but at $150 for the large diameter ones, I went with H D and am very satisfied with the choice.
Love my Get-A-Grip magnums. Good feel with or without gloves. Rode them a lot in the rain this year and again they performed well.

The clutch side comes with two set screws to help from moving but a little glue can't hurt I suppose. Any issues with sloppiness on the throttle side? I'm seeing that might be an issue.
I just installed some Avon Air-90 grips @ 1.625" diameter they feel better than the 1..45" grips that were on the bike. My hands were going numb with the smaller diameter grips.. Also the throttle side grip has no play and is very comfy on my hand.
I had get a grips. They are really nice but the chrome is plastic. I picked up a like new set of RSD Trackers to match my theme from a member here. They are really nice & the chrome is alloy/metal. The right side is fine, fits perfect. The left side slides on & is held by 2 set screws. I dimpled the bars at the set crews & added little blue locktite. Perfect! If it is a little loose as some say just add a wrap of tape. Problem solved. The only knock I have on the Harley plastic grips is the end caps as they fall off once in a while. I use a little little silicon glue on Harley end caps. Their interlock on the clutch side is great.
