Kinda glad they were not available when I re-painted my bike. I thought I already had all the ***** G available. JMO and please take no offense but when you have as much as I do that is just a bit over the top. Might think different if I saw it in person (and you were 6'8" (lol).

I didn't like my stock one either. I went from round to a long one. Now I can scratch that itchy knee

mine are coming off too... I got the SE Street Glide badges to go on... (never had any trouble getting CVO parts)
I think the gloss black barckground will look great on gloss black paint..
I did something similar a few years back, i put the black/chrome Night Train emblems with the little skulls in the background on a gloss black fat boy i customized...looked really sharp

how did you get the old ones off? I just got some new badges, but am afraid of
messing up my paint. Fishing line and heat? wd40 to clean up the leftovers?

Used fishing line to "saw" them off and then used Turtle Wax bug and tar remover to soak the sticky foam backing. I also used a small plastic scraper to slowly peel the backing from the tank. Takes a while to get off completely with a rag, but it works. Here's a link I used that helped with the process.
