Default straight pipes

Just got my first Harley, a '93 Electra Glide. Wondering if running straight pipes will damage the bike. I don't plan on running them forever, just until I can get to the shop to get a repair done.....

Nah, not a problem. Should fatten up the main jet a bit. But it'll be fine. Pipes will turn blue running too lean.
