Road Glide or Street Glide

Road Glide or Street Glide
I am looking to upgrade to a touring bike, I like the street glide but my friends who ride road glides told me that with the fixed fairing they have no problem with wind but with the street glide it is a problem. Can anyone tell me if this is true and how bad is it? Thanks.

I was sold on the RG after I test rode one, now I own one, I traded in my Ultra limited for mine and have no regrets.
Down in FL a lot of times even when it's nice out, it's windy, and the performance of the RG in the wind on the freeway is light years better on the RG than a batwing.
Test ride them both and decide for yourself. I was never bothered by the looks of the RG so that is a non issue for me.

I always kind of chuckle on the wind issue. I put over 80,000 miles on my 2004 batwing and ride in some of the windiest contrary there is and never once had an issue with wind. Others I would ride with would comment about being blown all over the place and I would never notice it. I think it is somewhat psychological. I have put 17000 miles on my RGU and is the same.
