I had seen a post awhile ago, been looking for it. Someone said they put spacers on the bars to keep the windshield from rubbing the cables, etc. I want to roll my bars forward again and put the shield on sometimes on long trips. I would like to know where the spacers were bought or a part number. Thanks in advance.

 

Uhr... no spacers, but I have clear plastic sheathing on the cables where it would rub. Seems to work fine, and I doubt you could put spacers in the right place to prevent contact.

 

Don't know the thread locale but as I recall the spacers were put between the windshield and the 6 vertical mounting points/bolts thus putting the windshield further forward.
