I Hate To Throw This Out......But.....

This seems to be part of the babysitting service the federal USG wants to setup and this kind of question shows me their training and constant harping about the NANNY STATE, "danger around every corner" training on the youngest generation is working. Dam!
Riding has always been a one-on-one event, I ride alone constantly, so do most dirt riders. Yes I got a phone but can not hear it while riding nor do I try to use it while riding (that is just stupid, kinda like using a phone in the car! STUPID). I have it "if"
there is a problem, not before.

Maybe it's just me but I'm not overly concerned with immediate notifications of my loved ones if I go down. I do keep my phone on me with ICE #s but that's the least of my worries.
My priority is getting proper and immediate medical care. I just want to survive and can track down family when I get around to it (they will come looking if I'm missing). Bottom line is that friends and family may comfort you in the hospital, but they aren't going to make a difference in your survival chances during the first 24 hours.
That being said, I'll look into the RoadID. Thanks for the info!

Putting emergency contact as ICE or 911 in your phone is good. But what if you are like me and keep your phone locked all the time? I keep a card in the wallet, one in my jacket, and one in the tour pak. Guess it comes from being in the military and placing dog tags in different places.
I also carry a card in my wallet with the same info and put it behind my drivers license.

It would be a great asset if on star made an app for motocycles that detected crashes, it's a wonder they haven't tought of that, sure they would get lots of subscribers, that's crossed my mind before while out riding back rodes where there is little traffic. It could be quite a while before you were discovered, maybe someone from that division reads this forum and will present it as a project

I'm over 50, whoever cares will get over it.
