H~D makes a very good cover but it does not fold up very small. I have a Nelson-Riggs that will fit in your ball cap and is very water proof, great for traveling.

I use the Harley cover and it works great ! I've had cheaper versions when I rode metrics and when I spent the extra monies for the Harley cover I was surprised to see how durable and easily it fit my ultra. There are a lot of other covers out there that work just as well, however I can't comment on them. If you decide to go with the Harley cover you won't regret it.

I have 3 covers for my ultra. I have the HD Storm Shield that I take on rallies to cover the bike at night. I can put it over right after I get off the bike. It works great, no moisture, and it keeps unhonest eyes from knowing what the bike is, and all the extras that have been added to it. My wife got me a HDOaisis day cover for Christmas. I ride to work every day it isn't raining in the morning, or if there is snow or ice... so you might as well say 4 out of 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year. The Oaisis cover is easier to slip on, and keeps the geese from crapping on it. If the bike is going to be sitting in the garage for an extended time (2 days or more for some God foresaken reason), I throw a king size fitted sheet over it. It's quick and easy. I may get rid of teh sheet, now that I have the Oaisis.

If you want the HD cover, go to HALESHD.COM. 20% off every item, every day. No tax and reasonable shipping. Tell Jim his frequent buyer from NC gave you the tip.

A lot of folks firmly believe it's a theft deterrent.

I need a winter dust cover for my new Ultra. It's Vivid Black, so don't want any scratches. Any suggestions... Harley light weight? Dowco? Anyone with real experiences?
