I have one and it's perfect for me.. Brawler seat, 6'1 top of shield sits right below my nose. It all depends on your height and seat. If I have the stock seat on it's terrible. Crammed into the fairing and sitting up about 3" higher.

If you want a custom shield, we can help you out too! you definitely want one that's tailor made for your height! hope that helps. The design is a big factor in how much turbulence you get!

One thing for sure, as many have already said, it is different for everybody. I tried the Windsplitter, the LRS flat top, LRS recurve and a few others in various heights on my Street Glide. I added hard lowers, everything changed, it's almost like the wind is blowing from behind me from the backdraft. I went to a 6" LRS and it is much better, just a little wind on the head, now thinking 7" might be perfect, but I'm dropping my seat 1 1/2" at Mean City, so we will see.

My point is, it all depends on rider position, type of accesory equipment, etc., so it really is a matter of expirementation. Listen to the guys here, get close and then make adjustments as needed. Soon, I will have a whole collection of LRS for varying conditions, like fall, spring, summer, long trips, short trips, hahahaha!
