I have a 14" National Cycle Vstream windshield. I trimmed it just below eye level. It has been the best windshield by far. Fairing wobble is at a minimum while following tractor trailers, minivans, and SUVs. I still get some helmet bobble though. I may try the 10" Wind Splitter but, I don't expect it to be better than my trimmed Vstream.

Ride safe,

Bob.

Had one on my street glide and loved it. When I got on a road glide I put one on before delivery and again, I love it. Looks and function are spot on!

8" didn't work out for me. Loved the way it looked, but too much turbulence on my head. I've ordered the 10". That should be perfect!

Would you let us know how you got on with the 10" WS? I am getting a 2012 SG and as I am nearly 6'2" I want the dealer to replace the OE deflector. It would help a lot to know how someone of similar height tO me found the 10" WS. Thanks.

I'm having the 10" Wind Splitter installed. Protection on top is o.k. But there is a lot of air coming from the bottom. I have ordered the Front Fork Air Baffle and Fairing Air Deflectors. Hope things work out then.

Thanks for the information. Whether the 10" WS works well depends on how tall the rider is. Can you please let me know how tall you are? This will give me some indication whether the 10" WS would work for me. Thanks

I'm @ 6.2" as well. Just can view over the edge of the windshield. It is hard to see trough for the curved radius.

I have a demo 10" WS from my dealer, on my 2012 FLHTK. I am 5'8" w/32" inseam and have a stock seat. I can see over the 10"WS, but if I slouch too much, it is right at eye level.

As far as air goes, there seems to be a little more wind than the stock shield, duh!, but just a touch of buffeting. I didn't know what everybody was talking about with buffeting until now. I can imagine if it was worse how it would be very uncomfortable.

I think a 9" shield would be perfect for me, I'll be trying a Fastaire Aero 9" next.
