I usually always ride on New Year's Day, and had planned to this year, but there is 3" of snow on the ground so I decided to do the smart thing instead of what I wanted to do.

Beautiful day in So California, I was out for a while

 

was plannin on it, but it rained most of the day, and with no helmet, and no chaps ( YET ) I wasnt gong to try and brave it.

 

After 2 weeks of snow in Denver there's no way to ride in the streets. I'm ready to get on the sidewalks and ride driveway to driveay.

 

RODE TODAY ON THE POLAR BEAR RIDE WITH THE MEMPHIS HOGS. ITS WAS ALOT OF FUN. ABOUT 38 WHEN WE LEFT OUT. BUR.......UNITAS

 

75 mile lunch ride today. It was pretty cold (29) here in North Texas this morning.

 

My wife and Irode for about 80 miles today. Very cold in the morning, but it got more enjoyable in the afternoon. Overall it was a nice day of riding and hanging out with so friends. Hope everyone had a Happy New Year!!!!!

 

Rode 180 miles in N. Georgia in sunny, mostly 50's weather. With the trees shed of their leaves, the vistas are spectacular in the mountains and with the rain we've had lately, the streams and creeks along the mountain roads were flowing fast. Great day. Happy New Year everyone.

 

Driveway's been clear since yesterday, still 15 inches of snow on the street in front of the house and there's big patches of ice on the main roads... with the limited resources for snow removal possessed by the government here in NM, it might be February before I get out on the road again, it ain't about the cold... [:@]

 

Rode about 50 miles in 49 degrees, just a little spin to say I rode on the NewYearsDay, did it now 3 years straight.
