No way
I had a metric once, and only once. Never again. Keep telling yourself you like it. Maybe just maybe you will start to convience yourself. I will keep my Harleys and ride into the sunset.
All I can say is you got some ba((s posting something like that on this forum.

My motorcycle history.....
I wanted a Harley.....I bought a metric
I wanted a Harley.....I bought a bigger metric
I wanted a Harley.....I bought a metric that looked and sounded like a Harley
I wanted a Harley.....I finally bought a Harley
No matter what the metric dealer tells you there really is no substitute for the genuine article.....
nogood o~`o

I just sold my 05 nomad and got an 09 flhrc...buying it used as your are doing, you aint gonna loose much upon resale...its a good bike and good luck with it. For me, I couldn't be happier or more proud of my new Harley.....A bike I've worked hard to get and always wanted.

If Harley wouldn't have upgraded the new 09 touring bikes, I would still be considering a metric bike. I've had three metrics and now a VROD which is a fantastic bike, better than any of the Yamaha's or Kaw's I've owned. Now i am ready for a true touring bike, and the Street Glide is for me. The new chassis and engine mounts really put this bike in a new class.
Not knocking your choice, I am sure it's a great ride and wish you best of luck.
