I would never go on the K forum to justify buying my Harley - LOL. What do you ride?... a Harley...'nuff said...no apology! Just yanking your chain. I'll still drop my hand to wave when we pass. Afterall, your don't have a cage on that thing! Good luck with her. I nearly did the same thing with aH*nd@ VTX Touring.

it is still an american company regardless of the parts... wings are made in ohio, right??? are they american?? nope, still a japanese company... i don't care if they sourced every single part from companies here in the states, it is still a japanese company until the move their corporate HQ here and central control is here as well... so if ya like it so much take it somewhere that loves to bash on HD for using some foreign parts... sounds like thats your motive anyway...

It can look like a HARLEY (but it doesn't) - It can sound like a HARLEY (not in this lifetime).......
THE ONLY THING FOR SURE IS "IT WILL NEVER BE A HARLEY"!!!!

AND THERE RESALE VALUE SUCKS!!!

Have to sayI also have a Kawasaki 1500 Classic and they are wonderful bikes. I have over 60,000 on it and never given me an ounce of problems. Good luck with the scooter. I have had Harleys for years but first and formostI am a motorcycle fanatic, do not carewhat company build it they are all unique in their own way.Never really understood the all non-harley haters. We are all riding for the enjoyment of the ride. But some are only brand concious. my opinion of course!

I got eight bikes with #9 due any day. When it comes to motorcycles I have no brand loyalty at all. I love them all. Enjoy it.
