Default Road King with Lowers, pictures please???

So i'm on the fence to weather what bike to get, a street glide or road king.

I'll be buying used.

I do want some music, so if i get a road king i'm thinking about lowers to put speakers in.

I'd like to see pictures of road kings with lowers. I've seen tons of street and road glides with lowers but no road kings.

thanks for the pictures!

I don't have lowers but wanted to give my .02. If you want tunes get a fairing. I have the sound of chrome by kuryakyn on my bars and two 3" speakers just aren't enough to hear at highway speeds without a fairing blocking the wind in my humble opinion. Around town they are plenty loud but the sound gets lost on the highway. If you put speakers by your knees and expect to hear them at highway speeds i think you'll be disappointed. I love my road king but I'll be buying a fairing when I get the money put together. Good luck

I was thinking about speakers in the lowers and putting speakers in the deck lids of the bags. If that is not enough for tunes then maybe i'll have to go with a street glide. i'm not sure if i want to buy a road king and then put a front fairing, then i'd have a street glide. I might as well just get a glide....

if you dont want a fix faring . go with road king. as far as music you can get a 61/2 speakers that can be mounted on the crash guard . and cheaper, or lowers with speakers. but more expensive .

I have lowers(love them), and had hogtunes covers with polk speakers. I could hear everything okay with the windshield on at normal highway speeds. I took it all off because I just didn't listen to it enough.

Where did you mount the head unit? Did you run an amp also?
Thanks.

No head unit. I had small amp mounted in the right side cover and a wire for my Ipod.

My Buddy's RK and my old lowers. I have to take new pics because they are now painted in luxury rich red like the bike.
