RoadKing all the way. No question.

With the SG, which BTW EVERYBODY has,you are stuck with that ugly, rattling hunk of plastic (fairing), but if you really want a fairing, have one installed on a RK. Then you can take it off when you wanna look cool around town.

IMHO, music doesn't belong on a bike. Save that for your car. Pipes are the best "music".

Had them on my recently traded 2004 Road King Classic. Loved them.

Why fit lowers, do you have a windscreen?
If so fit this sound system from Harley, I used it on 2 coast to coast runs and was perfect, just unplugs when you wanna run without the screen.
You can see the volume control on the right-hand side

I have a quick detach upper fairing as well but the RoadKing windshield still works great. There are many days that I prefer riding without either of the uppers but leave the lowers on all the time.
I had been tossing around the idea of buying a new CVO Street Glide and the thing that really irked me about that is, I wouldn't be able to ride windscreenless anymore on those "I wanna get in the wind" days. Maybe keeping my RK as a second bike is the best option?.

I like the Road King shield. It's almost invisible. When I take it off, it's like having another bike
