I tried to restart my Road King and it kind of clunked out,then waited and it started up when I hit the starter again.On the odometer window it read V IN ER .When I turned off the ignition and turned it on again the same code appeared.Only way to get it removed was to disconnect the battery,then connected it again and it's back to normal.Anybody have this happen?I put that speed/tach in and it always worked great.

 

This just happened to me. I took it to the local HD dealer and they didn't have any idea how to fix it and suggested I buy a new one. Mine is only 6 months old. Very happy I found your post. Thank you.
