Help,what removes melted boot from exhaust?
Stupid me, melted part of my boot on exhaust. I tried glue remover, goo gone and WD40.

Have you tried mineral spirits?

I use turtle chrome cleaner with 00 fine steel wool.In the paint department is where i find the wool.Have to use it alot Dam wife.doesnt scratch

easy off oven cleaner,don't spray it on(overspray will eat paint)spray it on a small rag dab it on let it sit wipe it off.some recommend 0000 steel wool,i had a bad experience with it.

Get it warm and use the fine steel wool. My wife melted some nylon jacket on once. I ran it just long enough to get the pipe warm, not hot, and the fine steel wool took it off.

lol ....ive got some of my waterproof trousers stuck on mine ... its been there a year ...im sure it will go on its own eventually

Harley sells plastic blade to remove it or use Easy off oven cleaner but wait till bike cools off.
