one year update S&S T-111 motor

06 SG Carb'ed update on the motor I like the S&S t-111 a lot; its a middle of the road motor -- decent power decent torque 117/109 vance and hines pro pipe-- due to the compression being only 9.8 it's good off the line not great. Easily does rolling burnouts -- but I can't get the front wheel off the ground --- my 107 will easily do wheelies -- the S&S is extemely quiet and balanced. the best thing about is it very very cool running. I have HD oil cooler on it -- barely gets to 200 degrees, can easily ride in shorts if so inclined. Compared to my RG with a HQs 107 with HD oil cooler -- it 's easily 20 - 60 degrees cooler -- this is in Georgia summer heat. At $5500 it aint cheap but with a 3 year warranty from S&S it provides peace of mind. It could be me but today I think I developed a tick somewhere it could be just Twin Cam noise; I only have about 4500 miles on the motor; still breaking it in. Going to change the oil and ride thoughout the week and see what happens. From my understanding i could up the power just by increasing the compression with thinner gaskets -- don't know how this would affect warranty. Overall a well balanced motor.
