At the right rear, under the right bag. Small sealed box with wiring going into it. What is it?

 

 

It might be the flux capacitor.

Is it the ABS module?

 

We really need a photo. Sealed with wiring...could be an aftermarket lighting control module, could be associated with fuel management, could be other things. Does it have any writing on it? What is it's size (lxwxd) and how many wires going into it and where do they go to and come from? (trace them). So we have more questions for you then you do for us.

 

Blinker fluid reservoir, muffler bearing auto-lube, Hide-a-key???

 

Doesn't matter guys, the OP joined in 2009 and has two posts so theoretically he won't check back now until 2015 and by then he will have a different bike

Sorry dawg; didn't realize I needed to be a "frequent-poster." I've just been enjoying the ride.
Actually, I was tracing wires from the Accessory switch on the inner fairing cap, looking for a good spot to hook up some LEDs; ended up at this box. I'd obviously seen this box before, but never paid attention to it.

I've wondered if it might be a motion sensor for the security system?
