That scans the presets automatically for 10 secs each until you cancel the scan.

From the manual:

Preset SCAN Tuning
See G in Figure 4. In preset SCAN, the radio continuously
tunes from one preset station to the next until the preset SCAN
is cancelled. A P.SC icon will display while preset SCAN is
active.
In the FM band, press and hold the More soft key for approximately
3 seconds. Each preset station remains tuned in for
10 seconds before the radio moves to the next station.
To select a station, cancel preset SCAN while the radio is tuned
to that station. Press the
MODE SEL switch UP or DN to cancel
a preset SCAN.

Yeah, I read that. Just my opinion, but it's more of a clumsy work around than an easy way to scroll through your presets. In this era of immediate gratification, I don't need to listen to 10 seconds of a song before it moves on to the next. Like a remote control on a TV, it would be so much better to just bang through the stations.

Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

The other day I pressed settings on the left handle bar. Scrolled to display. Then hit select with the right button. Then noticed when I adjusted the station up or down it went from preset to preset. I though woohoo, I finally figured it out.... Then I realized I had XM stations 25, 26, 27, and 28 programmed in and was simply adjusting the xm stations sequentially. Dang what a let down. It's hard to study the stupid thing when you're trying to watch traffic at the same time. haha.

Very funny post.

I suppose some people probably like going from station to station, but I think more would prefer just to be able to easily scroll through their favorites. Especially with XM satellite.

Maybe someday HD will offer a software update or module to make this possible.

+1, pain in the neck compared to just reaching out and hitting the preset station and going directly there
