The twin slash ovals are louder than the monster ovals/rounds. BTW, where did you order from?

If you want to be heard go with twin slash ovals. I first thought they were too loud but they have grown on me and I really like them.

Maybe best to ask questions before you order?

twin slash ovals to my view are replacement for the V&H ovals old model. They sound great when new, but after few years, they have become loud ... they still sound great but i am begininng to have issues with LEO's if i rev her up past 3500RPM... i might be swaping for 4" Monster rounds soon.. BTW -- Royal Dist.. .best prices in Canada to my view...

you can always repack the baffles to get that 'as new' sounds

Here is a GREAT way to pack or repack your mufflers and will last a good LONG time, and sounds great I find.

I too, was struggling with which, and what pipes to get. There are so many variables, (head pipes, how the bike is tuned, etc) that it seems no 2 bikes sound the same, even with the same mufflers.

That said, I really like how the MO's sound on my bike. Deep, but not loud and not 'brappy'.
