Servicing A Fuel Moto Pro Billet Air Cleaner Filter
Guys, I have a question or two about cleaning, maintaining and replacing the included air filter element used in Fuel Moto's Pro Billet Air Cleaner:
Fuel Moto says the Pro Billet Air Cleaner "features a cleanable, cotton/gauze High Flow air filter element". Is it a K&N filter element? If so: 1) what is the model number of the filter element, and 2) which cleaner/oiler kit do I need to buy?
Oh, and how often do you guys clean/oil your air cleaners?
Thanks, guys.

Get the K&N cleaner kit. Thuroughly soak filter with cleaner let sit for 2-3 min. Then I run under hot water in the sink flowing from the inside out. Never use high pressure to clean or chemicals other than soap. Ive used laundry soap in a pinch. Let air dry in the sun then coat the pleets evenly and dont over oil or it will drip on the cam chest. Dab any excess oil with a paper towel. Good luck.
