I am curious as to whether using the shorter recurve windshields increases the wind in the passengers face. The top of my stock shield is right in my line of sight (I'm 5'9") and would like to go with a shorter shield. But if its going to blast my O.L. right in the face, I would rather look over and around the stock shield. We put on lots of miles together, and if Momma ain't happy........

I'm 5' 8" with a 29" inseam. Was previously running an 8" LRS Utra. Just switched to a 6" LRS Ultra and works great. Shoots the air right over my head. Top edge of the shield is parallel with my upper lip when in my normal riding position. Shield is great as it does what it is supposed to do but still keeps the low profile. Depending on your inseam you may be able to get away with a 6" or 7".

With my 8" LRS the wife gets buffeted more then the stock shield. So I got the 10" flat top shield so hopefully this will work better for when she is riding.

Thanks for everyone's input. Sorry it took so long to get back, but I got busy with work stuff. I was leaning towards the KW's but now I guess I need to do some more 'looking.' I recently found a dealer here in my area that will let me 'try them out' before purchasing so I got a few miles to ride. Thanks again.
