Headwinds have very nice trim rings. One piece, no gaps, & no whistle. Be ready to go in that pocket though.

I just installed the Custom Chrome visor trim ring that I had on my 06 RK, on my 15 RK last night. It replaces the factory trim ring, and as mentioned before it is a continuous design similar to the factory ring - no separation at the bottom that has to be pulled together by the screw. The only snag, if at all, was that the rubber gasket that goes around the back edge of the factory ring is tricky to put on the Custom Chrome part's different back edge. I got it to stay on with some Goop adhesive in a few selected spots, let it dry overnight, then snapped it on. It is secured with the factory screw at the bottom like the original. I believe the part is still available from Custom Chrome for a little less than $50.

Now that I think about it, the CC part may have come with its own rubber gasket back when I bought it in 06 or 07, but for whatever reason I no longer have it - hence the dance with the factory rubber gasket. Anyway, it looks good and no gaps!
