now that is just too cool....I thought you had to have the gps plugged into the stereo (which I don't have on my rk) for all the xm,mp3s, weather etc. to work...I guess I know what I want for my birfday....

Best price I have found for RoadTech Zumo:

Tri-County Harley-Davidson for 20% off and only $10 shipping (UPS Ground to Texas).

Call Rebecca at (513) 874-4343.

Have you thought about usung a regular Garmin? I have been using one for four years and never had a problem. Even ridden in the rain with it. I just can't see buying one at that price when regular one cost more than 600 less with the same features or more. Except vibration proof and waterproof. But I've never had a problem in that area.

I have the RoadTech 665, HD Bomm on my Ultra Classic. It all works flawlessly. The only problem I have had is the NIM. I still don't have that ironed out so I currently have the NIM disconnected.

I won't ride without my 665.

XM Radio programming sucks but that's another topic!

Just wondering if a regular Garmin would fit the Harley fairing mount
How do you have your Garmin mounted? Are you using the Harley handlebar mount or the fairing mount? Or a Garmin mount.?
Can you post a couple of pics?

I use RAM mounts for my regular Garmin on the bike. They have mounts for about any configuration under the sun, handlebar mount, tank mount, fairing mount, whatever you want.

I use Ram Mounts for everything. Like Sailrider said, they are sure to have a configuration that will work for you. I don't actually bought all my mounts from Amazon. This is the configuration I use. I also use their cup holder. I won't be able to get pics up till after work tomorrow.

Here are the pics of my GPS mount.

That big round **** is an extra option. It's bigger than the one that comes with it, but allows the mount to be locked.

You can either get one or two *****.

Nothing wrong with that setup......might just use the garmin 765 i have sitting around doing nothing instead of blowing 700 bucks on the HD gps. Thanks for the pics!
