Default Bag Lights...

I saw an ad for "bag lights" by cycle visions. They mount on the back of ones bags (including RKC) and integrate with your running / brake / turn signal lights. I really like the idea of having additional visibility in the rear, however, the kit was VERY expensive.

Surely I can find flush mount LED lights elsewhere for installation, however, the wiring is what concerns me. Is one of the "modulators" a requirement to ensure proper function?

Thoughts, opinions, alternatives?

My lights are mounted inside the bag with the oval opening cut in front of the square lens. My brake light was eliminated and bag lights performed the RUN and BRAKE functions. I installed a Signal Dynamics PentaStar module last week that returned the TURN function the the bag lights. The module is only $100 and the wiring diagram is good. If you have the HD manual you should be able to install it with no problem. You can find all different kinds of LED lights on the internet, but it will need2 power leads and one ground.

Thanks for the tips, I will see what I can find with two lead wires and a ground wire. I really want to find some flush mount round lights for aux lighting.
