Question for those who mount tour pak organizer on rack bolts
At quick glimpse there must not be much thread left for the acorn nuts to mount the organizer to the rack bolts or, they changed the design for the Ultra Limited (maybe 2012's??) anyone mount the organizer on a 2011/2012 Limited with the rack mount from the factory. Maybe there is more bolt than appears. Are you removing the spacer and using the organizer as the spacer, then a larger diameter washer of similar thickness then the nut? Going to pull one off to see how much actual space there is. Probably making more of it than it really is.
Thanks

To the OP,you can remove the set screws and replace with longer ones if needed.

I had to use the tour pak screws to hold the darn thing in place. The irregular surface variations in the lid did not allow enough surface area of the adhesive to secure the organizer. This is actually a pretty crummy attachment solution and prone to failure most every time.
Using the tour pak leg screws is definitely the answer. The backing of the organizer is stiff enough to allow it and it works fine. You may or may not need to replace the screws with something 1/4 inch longer. I can't remember what I did.
Of course you will have to mark and punch corresponding holes in the fiber backing of the organizer to accommodate the screws. I did use some large washers under the screw heads to help distribute the weight outward from the screwhead.

Thanks folks. Just took one of the acorn nuts off and it would seem I would need to add a set of longer threaded studs. Trying to convince myself that I even want the thing. Wondering if it will hog more room than it is worth plus the pain in the butt of making sure it is in place. That is the fun with these mods, some end up worth it, some, not so much :-)
Maybe cutting it into sections that can each be removed with the velcro tape would allow for flexibility and hold each piece in place due to less weight per section (variation of glide2005's mod)?
