Default What Apes did you put on your RG?

Just curious what Ape's folks are running on their RG's, I traded in my Limited for the new shark nose scoot, and the seating position is completely different. On the Limited I needed less pullback because the bars were so close they pushed me back, on the RG I am leaning forward and it's killing my back on long rides, so higher bars and more pullback is needed.

Was looking at the 14" Wild1 Ape's, but wanted to see what other guys are running. I was considering the Carlini's I had on my old RK but the pullback does not seem like enough to be comfortable.

Thanks
FM

Carlini's don't have much pullback. I don't have an RG (yet) but I am thinking the regular Yaffe Monkey bars not to be confused with the monkey bagger bars. I dig the way they look but am yet to check the pullback specs. Another nice option are the Wild 1 Outlawz. The good think about apes on a RG is that you can roll them pretty far back or forward to fit you as the faring is not in the way like with a batwing therefore you can run a regular ape without the extra curve in it to accomodate the batwing.

I know which Yaffee bars you're talking about I was looking at them too. As for the Outlaw Apes, they have little pullback just like the Carlini bars........

I just installed the new HD "Fat Mini Apes". Didn't have to replace the cables and the total job cost $1000.00 (stealer installed).

Shred- Do you have the dimensions of those bars? Do you lean forward the same amount or less as your stock bars?

Thanks

Man I'm glad you posted, saw a pic of your the other day but didn't remember your Screen Name. I had a set of these in chrome on my old RK, and liked them, but on the CVO RGC seem I'm sitting further back than any of my other touring bikes.

How big are you and how do these feel compared to stock? On the stock bars on the CVO I love the wrist angle but fine myself reaching forward and down too much.

I ordered a set from http://torchind.com/ they can custom make any size you want the wait time and price was way more reasonable then br handlebars or yaffe. plus I like 1 1/2 thick bars.

Check the HD website for dimensions.

I lean alot less forward than I did with the SERG bars I had on. The riding position is much more comfortable and I'm 6'2" with ape like arms.
