Got a line on the last set of Woods Directionals in Australia for less $$ than I could order them in from the States for.
I'll give them a try-- and I can have them in hand Friday for weekend installation.

Thanks to all who took time to respond--your input is appreciated. Doc-- will try the HQ next time....

Give these guys a call. These are made by Delphi and are supposedly the same as the H-D 99B lifters. The newer 99C lifters are reportedly of lesser quality. Also do a search of Gaterman lifters as another alternative.

I love this subject..Roller lifters that are in automotive engines last hundred of thousands of miles but harley roller lifters are junk after 15000. Sounds like people just want to spend money for no reason.

Come on down to Australia and listen to mine clatter and I reckon you'd change them as well.
I call it cheap insurance considering the alternatives.......
