Default Road King Classic Saddlebag trim

Does anyone have this? Part # is 53767-98. Any likes, dislikes? Just curious how it looks. Any pics would be appreciated.

Thanks

Seen it on someone else's bike. It didn't do it for me.

Ditto.

The chrome guards look nice. Not this stuff.

Yeah, to me it looks like crap you stick on, because you can.

They do protect the top surface from hitting the four point attachement system if you have it on the bike for luggage rack and or back rest. They are not that pronounced and match the front chrome accent. MO

I had these on my RKC, and really liked them. I originally bought them to cover up the blemishes from the lid hitting the docking points, but I thought they added a good appearance as well. BTW, they don't stick on - they require drilling holes in the saddleback lid (see pics).

That's exactly why I want them. I have a couple of marks on each saddlebag from the docking points. I didn't realize until it was too late and the dealer didn't tell me about the kit that stops the bag lids from opening too far and hitting the docking points. They marks aren't too bad but from the looks of the pics they don't look too bad.

Thanks for the pics

I wondered if they would do that. I have a couple dents in the leather where the leather lid hids the bolts on the attachment bracket. No offense though, not a big fan of the look.
