That's exactly why I want them. I have a couple of marks on each saddlebag from the docking points. I didn't realize until it was too late and the dealer didn't tell me about the kit that stops the bag lids from opening too far and hitting the docking points. They marks aren't too bad but from the looks of the pics they don't look too bad.

that kit that stopss the lids form opening too far is a piece of crap...you can only open the bags about 1/2 way and you have to hold them open with one hand and put stuff in with the other hand, what a pita..I put them on (which is really a pita) and almost immediatly took them off and tossed that **** in the trash...
