Just wondering if I am one of the few that suffer from being a Harley Davidson adulterer.
I own a 2005 EGC and I love it. BUT, I have to admit that I also really like most of the other models.
I'll be walking to the store and a RK or a Glide or a SG will drive by and I'll think to myself "wow, that is a sweet ride"

Is this sacreligious???? Do I need to go to the HD doctor???

I own a black 2010 Ultra Classic and would like to have a black Street Glide as a second bike.

Are you kidding? We all suffer from the same weakness. I'm constantly looking at other bikes and wondering how I could possibly swing adding them to the stable. And no, they're NOT all Harley's, even though many of them are..... Let's see, the new Ducati 1199 Panigale S, MV Augusta, BMW 1600, CVO Ultra, Fat Bob, Cross Bones, the list is endless. Unfortunately, the finances are! So we ride what works with our budget. But come on, we can all dream a little.

 

A friend of mine can't ride anymore due to health problems.

He has a 1988 FLHS he wants to sell. I'm really tempted to buy it.

 

I love my SG, but have to admit that there are quite a few others I ogle at and given the opportunity, wouldn't hesitate to take for a ride.

Yeah, it's a good thing that bikes aren't women because I think that most of us would be getting our asses kicked.

 

I say absolutely.

I still miss my Night Train and wish I didn't have to give it up for the SG.
I wouldn't give my SG up for another NT, but hardly a day goes by that I don't wish I could have both.

 

Absolutely have "lusted' after several models ! ....what can I say, those beauties attract riders, just sitting in parking lot or heaven forbid under the bright lights in a showroom.

 

Yea; there are 3 Harleys that I love the best. They are:

RoadKing Classic
Deluxe
SuperGlide Custom

But I am safe from buying new because I had 2 SuperGlide Customs & didn't like the ride;would never again own a fuel injected Dyna, and I wouldn't buy a bike with TBW, so the only one I am in danger of "cheating" with is a new Deluxe.

There are others I feel like "meh", but only a couple I flat out can't stand. I guess those would be the "ugly biotches".

 

The only reason I own one bike is that I can't afford (and don't ride enough to truly justify) owning 2, or 10. But there are a ton of bikes (more than just HDs) that I admire and would own if I could have a second. I buy what I buy because I think it suits me and my current needs best.
