Default need advice: Night Train

I have a new Night Train. The oil filler cap is right by the seat and burning a hole in my leg. I can't believe Harley designed this this way. It's not that I'm fat and have leg sprawling all over the place. On the contrary, I'm short and small. It's so bad that I have to pad my leg. Anyone else have this problem? Nan

Sorry you're getting burnt up, it's not a problem on my SE RK.

I don't have a night train, but do have the problem with my right leg getting very hot in city traffic. In fact when I get off, I will often feel my jeans burning my leg where it comes into contact with it. Guess there's just enough room in my pant leg to absorb the heat and keep it away from my leg. You might try wearing different pants and see if that helps.
Clammy has a night train and I think his solution was to live in Canada where it's rained 80% of the time that he's had it. (Just kidding, Clammy)
Anyway there's a lot of NT owneres on the list. I'm sure that someone will be able to help. Art
