Those are IED's. I put them on a bud's 08 with a stage 1 and 2-1 and they worked fine.

they appear to be the same thing. Ive got a set of vieds that are adjustable between 14.2 and 13.8-1. They work great, I just graduated to a powervision. Id sell em cheap if you wanted to give em a shot. They do work as advertised.

They are exactly the same. Nightrider distributes them under a couple different names... NAMZ is one of them. He lists this on his website. I ordered mine through DK and they were packaged as Nightrider XIEDs. I was purchasing other items as well from DK so I bought mine there.

Do you like them? I am only looking to gut the cat and get rid of the decel pop on my stocker.

I read up a bit about these. Is it true that they are for bikes that don't have many upgrades, pipes, high flow air cleaner, etc. I like the idea of better performance and less heat. I have and 09 SG with the HD 110 upgrade. Wonder if it would give me improvement.

I researched them pretty good myself before purchase and decided they were all I needed. I have the 103", SE CVO exhaust with 2" Fullsac power cores, SE Ventilator AC, and the Xieds. All I can say for sure is I Don't NOT like them... My bike runs great, has no decel popping and gets lo 40's for gas mileage, and seems to have a bit more response. As far as keeping the engine cooler ??? For me it was $100 well spent.
