Very nice work, and very much appreciated by the forum mbrs, by ALL the positive comments posted. Expect you may have a few requests inbound.

Question: how is your GPS mounted (Held on) ? Just wondering.

Cheers,

Scott

Hi Scott - For my ZUMO 550 GPS I used the new Kuryakyn fuel lid mount - then I had a Touratech Shock proof (rubber mounted) GPS mount I mounted to that - Then i found it a pain to get the key into the fuel lid so I ordered the push button fuel lid release from Kuryakyn - add it all up & it gets spendy but makes for a very nice install - You wouldn't have to have the Touratech but with the vibration of the Harley I'm sure the ZUMO will live much longer. If i can be of more help just drop me a note - The Touratech also locks the GPS in place - Tom

Very nice Tom! I bet you see potential in places we just look over - like a friend of mine who carves people and things into trees at a small park. A large tree fell once, they were going to remove it, he said NO! He carved it into a giant crocodile!
Thanks for sharing.

I kept looking at the Ham Can - it was bugging me - didn't want to over do it so i ground out a couple of over lays & scratched them up - looks pretty nice in person - Taking pix's of engraving is a very difficult thing - enjoy - tom
