HELP! - Please - bike is dead...
Ok, so yesterday I had to replace my rear fender tip light from Custom Dynamics on my 2009 Utra. Simple thing really. I had to move the bike around in the garage without the security FOB before I started the wrenching (I do not know if this is significant or not, but I want to share the events) - of course the lights blinked etc warning me that the bike was being moved without the security FOB.
Did the wrenching, swapped fender tip lights, my buddy came over and then we worked on his bike for the next 4 hours.
After he left I realized I never checked the lights etc. So I grabbed my FOB, turned the bike on, fuel pump engaged, headlight came on, but none of my rear lights came on, and the two running/turn lights in the front did not come on either. I figured it must be a fuse and It was late so I figured I would look into it first thing in the morning.
So this morning I check the accessory fuse, fine, I check the lights fuse, fine, I check the brake fuse, fine. So I try again turning on the bike and I noticed that my odometer LCD is not coming on either - as I was going to try and disarm the security system manually in case my FOB went bad. So I check my instruments fuse too, it is fine. I also "undid" what I did, and still no luck.
I can't start the bike either. Hit start button nuthing.
Recap - So no rear lights, no front run/turn lights, ODO LCD does not come on, and the bike will not start (hit start button nothing happens, no turn over no nothing.)
What else could be wrong? What other fuse? Do I have to do something weird to reset the security? I am at a loss. And the no LCD reading on the ODO really has me stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks folks! :-)

UPDATE:
Found that the 15A Batt fuse was blown. This is what powered the ODO LED Display and now allows the bike to start.
So now, the only issue is - no rear lighting and still no front turn/run lights when on, but the rears & fronts do blink when you shut off the bike and you get the security alarm blink.
I still do not have brake lights either. If I turn on the left signal - the left signal front and rear blink, if I turn on the right signal - all lights blink. Man do I HATE electrical problems!

You have to go back through all of your steps. If the fuse was blown then you can assume you have or had a short. If everything was fine prior to changing the light, then somewhere you pinched a wire, ran a screw into a hot tab, something. Why did you change the light in the first place? Did it not work when you started and you assumed it was the bulb or led array or whatever it is you are using for light?
