As far as the tech rep at V&H says, there is no performance loss by adding the baffles, just 2-3dB difference is loudness, which is about 20% to give you and idea.

V & H True Duals with Screaming Eagle mufflers with turn down tips......I lke them......so many choices.....good luck.
