I did exactly the same thing last year. We even have the same color combo now.

 

All I gotta say is that you're gonna LOVE your King, but I'll bet you end up missing the Sporty. Ask me how I know!

 

I love my Road King! I had an 02 Honda shadow saber vt1100 before it. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Windy days no longer make me nervous. The bike has such a low and stable center of gravity. I love it!

Congrats on the King. I have owned both RoadKings and Sportsters. Roadking is my favorite Harley but I miss having a Sportster around.

You'll love it. I still have my Sporty and was lured to the dark side when I got to ride an FLHP for a week last Sept. I'm still in the process of making the switch, so I envy you, but I know it's going to be great.
