Added a few drops of "Gorilla Glue" to mine and never had another problem.

Use the tour pak rack bolts. No adhesive can stand up indefinately to the weight plus the heat.
You will have to drill the holes in the organizer backing to match the bolts.
This was a weak piece of chit design from our friends at HD.

This is a professional use 3M product made for ABS and has a 200 degree rating and has worked well for my TP organizer and my SB lid covers. I haven't seen this part number at any big box stores.

Agree with everyone else that suggested this. No tape required and you don't have to buy bolts.

3M VHB double sided tape is all but permanent. Get this tape but understand it will be VERY diificult to remove in the future. Think "Industrial Strength" on steriods.

I've used it, I know.

Good luck.

I've also used the high heat vhb 3m stuff to stick half of a stainless steel cigar tube to my cup holder to use as a cigar holder. I'd need a crowbar to remove it.

Check ebay for molding tape. Its what they use to install molding on the sides of cars. Tuff stuff.

At quick glimpse there must not be much thread left for the acorn nuts to mount the organizer to the rack bolts or, they changed the design for the Ultra Limited (maybe 2012's??) anyone mount the organizer on a 2011/2012 Limited with the rack mount from the factory. Maybe there is more bolt than appears. Are you removing the spacer and using the organizer as the spacer, then a larger diameter washer of similar thickness then the nut? Thanks

Looked up the stuff - sounds impressive. Did you use it for what we are talking about here - attached organizes to tour pak and saddle-bag lids?
