I love the V&H exhaust but have had a horrible time with the fuel pak. It worked for a while and then at high speed just backfired and quit. After a while the bike started but never ran right. The guys at V&H were great; however, the bike never ran right with the fuel pak. I have two in boxes after sending the original back and not "getting it right." I ended up going with the se race tunerand haven't had any problems since.

Did you use the FuelPak settings listed on the Vance & Hines site, or did you modify any of them? If you changed them, I'd be interested in knowing which ones. I've already got Black Widows on my Street Glide, and am cosidering adding a Drak and FuelPak. Thanks

I put the fuel pak on my 2010 last week, milage went down from 45 mpg to 37 mpg and ran like crap in 6 gear from 2500 to 3000. Called yesterday and they gave some new numbers to tweek the old ones. Run great this morning to and from work today. Don't know what the milage is going to be now, but I don't care if it runs this good. By the way, the tech said that its normal for the milage to drop that much. I have stock pipes,/cats removed, Xieds, 4" Screamen Eagle mufflers, and stage one Alen Ness A/C.The map I use is FP3261 with thw following no's changed .

9. +5
10. -2
11. -7
12. -1
14. +6
15. +3
16. +5
24. +7
25. +7
26. +3

All the rest remained the same.

hey guys, this site is great, loaded w/ knowledge.
just got my first hd, 2009 ultra classic, up from a 2003 VTX 1300, the ultra is awesome.
anyway, the original owner had V&H slash cut ovals installed w/ V&H fuelpack, not sure about air filter
i think i want to add true duel for less heat and better performance esp in low end, any advice would be appriciated

After you make the changes, call V&H. Tell the tech what you have and he will give a new map. If it doesn't work right, call them back and they can tweek the numbers some to make run better. It only take about five minutes to change the map. The hardest thing removeing the seat.

I have had the V&H Fuelpak Vo2 naked AC dresser duels with monster ovals for 2 years and I have had nothing but great performance. I had to call the tech support to tweak the top end but after 2 rounds of that I have not changed a thing and my bike runs great. 6th gear 80mph i still can accelerate to 90 no problem.

yes, that is why I said "until" he changed the intake the other mods ( 1 & 2) on his list would have had little effect

Went to Sturgis this week. My bike was fine going out, but got a tank of bad gas. Burned it out, but afterwards the bike was running soft under load in the 2500/3000 rpm range in 6th gear. It would actually start missing and cutting out after 80 mph.

Took it to the Vance and Hines trailer at Black Hills Harley. Chris from the trailer identifed that the most current map for my bike was not loaded, so he installed it. The bike ran great going home. I am not sure what corrupted the original settings, but I think these guys know what they are doing. Very nice people too!

Running stock motor, K&N air filter, ProPipe, and Fuelpak.
