Default Kuryakyn Tour-pak relocator?

When I got my Ultra, the first things I did was put the tourpak relocator on. My wife hadn't even ridden with me yet but I knew she would appreciate the extra room. Well, there is plenty of room now, but she started complaining right away about the speakers hurting her hip bones. She is not a really big girl so I didn't realize what the problem was. I searched and searched on all the forums but I couldn't find where anyone else was having the problem. While looking at some new bikes, I realized that the tourpak relocator has raised the tourpak and the speakers up about an inch or more and this is what is causing the discomfort. I've thought about moving the speakers out and down a little but don't like the idea of drilling more holes in the tourpak. I've thought about having the seat padded and built up an inch or two to see if that would help. And I've thought about just taking the relocator off but don't want to give up the extra space. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you deal with it. If not, anyone have any other ideas. Thanks!

Here is a link to how KC Classic made a plate to move his TP back. I did the same thing & the TP only got raised about 1/4" at most.

Well now, that's a great idea. Wish I had seen that before I bought the Kuryakyn one. Thanks for the link.

This is on the "to do" list now. I already have the aluminum plate sitting there waiting for me.
