Default Temporarily off the bike

A few weeks ago I slipped and fell and partially tore my rotatar cuff. Currently trying just physical therapy 2 times per week for 3-4 weeks to see if it will heal on its own. Hurts like no other during therapy. Has anyone out there gone this route without surgery? Doc says it will be several months before it will be back to normal..the crappy part of all this is I just bought a new 2012 Street Glide.

Sorry to say I did the same thing 1 1/2 yrs ago. Tried the PT, didn't work. Had surgury Dec. 9 '11& then PT, just now about ready to return to work. Hope it works out better for you. I'm glad I had it done, but it's a long road to recovery. Good luck

Put off my first RC surgery for three years(shouldn't have). I put on beach bars so my hands would hang straight down...it worked for a while. Finally had to do surgery after a 40 mile trail race finished it off. Shoulders suck.

I sure hope that the PT helps cause I sure dont want to go under the knife. That would really suck and ruin my summer.
