Right. They are comparing grams cheapest filter against the more expensive Harley filter. Try comparing the Harley filter to one in it's price range maybe. Like wix or something.
Frams extended guard filter is about the same cost as the Harley one. Try comparing apples to apples

Also, would be interesting to see an internal comparison to a K&N 171C oil filter.

I think the intent of this videois to show the guys that shop for filters at Wal-Mart what they are really not getting. There are other videos that show the apple to apple comparison

Couldn't find any on Utube.... I thought this was insightfull

Maybe ya should post a U Tube video and get back to us with all your findings

I was running a K&N... switch back to OEM after not really seeing anything that showed me K&N was better........

Interesting, this K&N looks very similar to the HD OEM filter in the other video. Both have metal end caps, the anti siphon valve looks similar as well as the bypass valve! Interesting that HD advertises their OEM filter as 5 micron. I believe K&M says 10 micron on their, but I have read where this is a marketing "gimmick" anyway as it depends on what percent capture rate they are really measured at and HD doesn't list that in their specs. What that means is it could only capture 1% of the 5 micron particles but pass 99% of them and they may say it is a 5 micron filter!! Could still be apples and oranges comparison!
