You will not reuse any parts from your original forks and since you are not taking the forks apart, just removing the springs and dampner assembly, you will not need to replace any seals. You may want to replace the washer for the (2) 6mm bolts at the bottom of the forks. These washers are usually compression washers so for a couple of bucks I would replace them. The Progressive Monotubes Lowering Fork Kit is supplied with 4 preload washers, each 1/4" inch thick. They recommend you install 3 washers and if you find you are bottoming out then add the 4th. Hopefully you won't have to do this since it involves taking everything apart again.

just put them in. somehow I screwed up and had 2 of the short springs below the tubes install. stiff and lowered. went with the one short pring. got the travel back and smooth controlled ride. make sure you look and see if anything is in the bootm of tube before you install the tube. just put on 200 miles yesterday with passenger and the ride is very goo. compliant, controlled, no bottoming good steering. I like and recommend them to someone who wants a better ride.
