Default Screwed up.....scratches

Yup......i did went and did it. Took my bike in for the 25000 mile service and forgot to tell them not to wash it. Go to detail it today and every painted surface is covered with little scratches and swirl marks. Like they had sand in the rag or something. I know if I say something to them their gonna say it was like that. I know differently. I detailed it the night before and I'm very ocd about and there wasn't a single scratch on it. Lesson learned I guess. Now for the important part. How do I remove all the scratches?

I like Meguiars Scratch-X, I'd see if that works for you first before you bring out the big arsenal.

Havent tried this, but might also help: http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...g17616-swirlx/

I stopped taking my bike to the dealer for anything. I do it all now, at least I plan to. They have done more damage to my bikes over the years that I no longer am willing to risk it.

That sucks man.... Post your dealership so others dont get hosed on it. I am lucky here, local moco does a descent wash, would not pay for it though... No scratches anyway. You would think they would take a lot more care....

I use turtle wax ice paste. It doesn't dry white but clear. I use it on my customers cars too.

I use 3M Perfect-it Swirl mark remover. It has never let me down.

take a few minutes and go to auto geek website, they have videos on products and procedures on removing swirls and scratches. They get my money.

Go there and find the owner I had the same thing happen to my bike with the fender & the fairing got them both replaced new at a San Diego dealership. If it wasn't documented when you dropped it off they will replace it.
