anybody have any idea? anybody see them in person yet? can't wait to see that new street glide.

 

I don't know exactly, but I do know that the local HD Dealer near where I live is holding a New Model Open House on the 10th of September..............

 

They are already on two of the local dealer's showroom here. Saw them today. The couple of street glides were already sold.

 

Saw the 06 SE V-Rod. Nice! 240 rear tire fits a lot better than I would have thought without first seeing it. Also sat on the new Street Bob. If I had the money for a new bike, I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat! Very nice ride! They finally moved the battery box in on the Dyna's so it doesn't rub your leg when you come to a stop.

Oh, and saw a new Night Rod. Sorry, but it does nothing for me. Also sounds like a really bad **** title.

 

I received an e-mail from Benjy's in Huntington, WV that the '06's would be on display this Sat., but that none could be sold before Mon. Art

 

The Harley-Davidson Store in Baltimore has them on the floor now.

 

All of the dealers get their new model year bikes on allocation and it just takes time to get them to all the dealers. I talked to Bumpus HD here in Memphis and they said ...ANYDAY now.....They always have an open house for the new model years...and that is always a good time.

The new street glide looks like a Road King Custom with a batwing. No rails or leather, but rather has hard bags and a stereo with white faced gages....Sounds awesome.

I'll stick to my Ultra...I like the 4 speakers....

They're trickling in at the dealers around here also. By the way Dozer22, why isn't your bike in the running for bike of the month? I think we need to nominate you next month...

Rode 3 of the 06's today and will be helping with the demos tomorrow. I rode the street bob above and liked it alot exept for it not having the foward controls. Rode a road glide and found out I liked my ultra ALOT more which is what I was hoping. I also took out the new dual purpose buell. Awesome bike. Front end felt soft but had not been set up. It doesnt have a fuel guage which would have been nice.
