Pretty sure those aren't DOT, it would still protect your noggin though.

 

Got the pictures, and they are exactly what I needed to make the decision. Very much appreciated. I like the Carbon Fiber model but the flat black is cool too.

 

I have a HCI 105 from 3 years ago and I wore a Xlarge. When I spoke with the sales person he informed me that HCI reworked their shell sizes and made everything smaller which is why they look smaller. I even tried on my dads Xlarge yesterday just to see and his Xlarge fit me perfectly yet his helmet looked huge.

I've had this helmet for almost a year. It is a DOT helmet and I find it low-profile enough. I have a slightly more elongated head than round, but it fits me perfectly. Mine fits easily in a saddlebag. My only criticism is the vinyl and fleece pads over the straps. I would prefer uncovered nylon straps. You can't beat the price.
